Content Feedback

Rembrandt Director, Product Marketing · 2024-present

Needs work

First bullet: strong overall, but "AI-powered startup" is vague and potentially reads as buzzwordy. Replace with something specific about what Rembrandt actually does - e.g., "generative AI platform for in-content advertising". The reader should understand the business from this line.

Needs work

Second bullet: "Established foundational creator narrative" - the reader doesn't know what this means because the product hasn't been explained yet. This jumps to tactics before establishing context. Either make the first bullet explain the product well enough, or rework this to simultaneously describe what the company does through the lens of what you accomplished.

Acronyms

PRDs - not universally known. Spell out "product requirements documents."

PLG - less universal than you'd think. Spell out "product-led growth."

SaaS, GTM, ICA - these are fine. ICA is well-defined with the parenthetical. Keep.

Samsung Ads Global PMM · 2022-2024

Mostly good

Content is generally solid here. One fix:

Word repetition

"Partnered" appears twice, literally on consecutive bullet points (2 and 3). Use a different verb for one:

  • Collaborated, Worked with, or Teamed with

Oracle CX Marketing + Data Cloud · 2013-2021

Bullet points are solid

No major content changes needed. The substance is good.

Visual hierarchy is the main issue

Too many bolded role titles competing for attention. The 8-year career climb through Oracle is a compelling story, but the current formatting buries it under dense bold text. Make sub-roles lighter and smaller so the bullet points (the actual substance) can breathe.

Word repetition

"Partnered" also appears twice in Oracle (one per column). Less noticeable since they're in different columns, but still worth varying.

Indeed Client Support · 2013-14

Good as-is

Layout works well. Logo integration is the best on the page. Content is appropriate for an older role.

Univision Analyst → Media Strategist · 2010-2013

Good as-is

Content is fine. Context is clear.

Tagline Row Work experience tags

Effective concept

The tagline row gives a quick scan of domain expertise. Nice touch.

One tag needs changing

"Job search" reads a little odd - it's for Indeed, but it could be misread as "I'm currently job searching." Consider "Recruitment Tech" or "HR Tech" instead.

04

Big Picture

Five strategic principles for the next draft.

1

Lead with what the company does, through what you did

The Rembrandt section is the most important (current role, most recent) and it doesn't clearly explain the product. A hiring manager should understand Rembrandt's business just from reading your bullets.

2

Reduce visual noise in Oracle

8 years at a major company is impressive. But the formatting makes it look dense and intimidating rather than impressive. Lighter, smaller sub-role formatting lets the bullet points breathe.

3

Eliminate acronym soup

SaaS, GTM, ICA are fine - widely understood. PRDs and PLG are not universal enough. When in doubt, spell it out. You lose nothing by being clear.

4

Tighten line breaks

Every orphaned word on its own line is wasted vertical space on a one-page resume. Rewrite bullets to pull orphaned words up. One saved line = one more thing you can say.

5

Kill unnecessary headers

"Work Experience" and "Education and life journey" are both self-evident. Cut them. The content speaks for itself and you gain back valuable space.
